Sorry that I haven't been on for the past three days. I was busy Friday and Saturday (was tired by the time I got home on those days), and mom had the computer all day yesterday.
I had to delete the nearly 300 deviations from my list so if you've posted something during those days that you would like me to see, please let me know.

Gold is usually alloyed in jewellery to give it more strength, and the term carat describes the amount of gold present (24 carats is pure gold). It is estimated that all the gold in the world, so far refined, could be placed in a single cube 60 ft. on a side. Addition of zinc powder to the resulting solution precipitates out the gold.
